MARKETING COORDINATOR

Coordinator to be an integral member of the Marketing Team. The right candidate must have the

Responsibilities:
The Marketing Coordinator will work with a dynamic and growing Marketing team to promote a family of
premier alternative investments, including mutual funds, private funds and managed accounts. Job
responsibilities include:
• Assisting the Chief Marketing Officer with public relations, advertising placement and overall project
management with agency vendors
• Coordinating with, and assisting members of, the Marketing and Sales Departments with materials
requests, campaigns and client-servicing issues
• Reviewing, proofing, editing and finalizing marketing materials to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Coordinating with Marketing managers to ensure completion of campaigns
• Entering and editing information in our CRM and marketing databases to support webinars, email
campaigns, and other events
• Assisting in the production of print and electronic marketing materials and programs
• Assisting in the maintenance of creative standards through efficient and effective work and careful
quality control
• Maintaining the highest levels of customer service to internal and external customers
• Taking ownership of select projects from inception through implementation
• Event planning and coordination, including our annual Altegris Strategic Investment Conference and
other Altegris sales-related events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Marketing, Business Administration or Finance
• 1 - 3 years of business experience, including exposure to alternative investments and mutual funds, at
an investment management, asset management, financial services firm or advertising/marketing
agency
• Ability to self-start and work under pressure
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong project-management skills with the ability to multi-task
• Superior project-execution skills
• Strong team player with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing, organic environment
• Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
